Injury round up: Am-Ram strained his groin.

The Cubs will likely use Rey Ordonez at shortstop and Ramon Martinez at third in the interim. Yuck.

No kidding. And Where does Mister Auto Out Ordonez bat with his .128 BA? #2 in the lineup today. Way to go Dusty, give our worst hitter as many AB's as possible.

Update: Oh great, everytime I bash a player they do something good and make me look like an ass. Rey Ordonez just hit a 2 run HR. What are the odds?

Zambrano injury minor.

At this point, we don't expect Zambrano to miss his next start.

Todd Hollandsworth placed on the DL

To fill Hollandsworth's roster spot, the Cubs recalled infielder Brendan Harris from Iowa of the Pacific Coast League. Harris was hitting .311 with 18 doubles, eight homers and 26 RBI in his first 56 games at the Class AAA level.

The 23-year-old Harris batted .400 with 18 extra-base hits and 16 RBI in June.

And Brendan Harris will rot on the bench and get zero playing time as Rey Rey continues to start. Just like Jason Dubois was hot in AAA and got a grand total of 12 AB's in a month.

Want a sure fire way to have prospects fail? Do it Dusty's way.

Kerry Wood close to returning.

Pitcher Kerry Wood will make a rehab start at Triple-A Iowa next Tuesday and could start for the Chicago Cubs in the series before the All-Star break if he continues to make progress.
