Congrats to the Cubbies as they complete the sweep of the Whitesox via a bases loaded walk, to Todd Walker, to win the game, in the bottom of the 9th. Fantastic at bat by Walker, good to see contact hitting skills on a team full of strikeout kings.

We move on to Milwaukee, a team that should not be taken lightly. This is the team I said will give the Cubs the toughest time with a lineup full of scrappy hitters that work counts and will single and double you to death.

Some funny news notes...

For the Cubs, third baseman Aramis Ramirez should be back this week, though you know about the Cubs and their track record of predicting injury duration.

So 3-4 days is what in Cubs time? A week or two? -shrug-

For the Cubs, there's still half a season left to come up with some new and different injuries to new and different players. And, of course, new and different ways for the billy goat to work his black magic.

Ok the last part wasn't amusing at all. But if the injury bug does strike again please let it strike down Rey Rey, Rickey G, or Macias.
