Walker says he will play 3rd base. If needed.

"The best player in the game made the transition from shortstop to third base," Walker said. "But it took him a while. Could I play it? Absolutely. But I'd have to have a little leniency."

But manager Dusty Baker isn't considering Walker at third and instead will use Ramon Martinez and Triple-A Iowa call-up Brendan Harris, who took Todd Hollandsworth's roster spot Saturday after the Cubs outfielder was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a nerve problem in his right leg.

You got to admire Walker at least saying he will give it a try. I agree with Baker that I probably wouldn't use Walker at 3rd either.

Don't look for Brendon Harris at 3rd also, he has only played SS and 2nd in AAA this year, and he cant even unseat Rey Ordonez at SS.
